What Information Does Amphetamine Collect About Me?
Amphetamine collects nothing about you or your usage habits on your Mac. Absolutely nothing. While Apple enables developers to collect anonymized app analytics data, Amphetamine and its creator, William C. Gustafson (WCG), want nothing to do with that data. Analytics data collection is not enabled in Amphetamine. All data that you provide Amphetamine through features such as Triggers remain local on your Mac, and are never transmitted, sold, or otherwise made accessible to anyone other than yourself.
Apple does provide sales data to all developers who distribute apps through the Mac App Store. This data is strictly reports of units/copies sold (or, downloaded for free in Amphetamine's case). This data contains no personally identifying information. Amphetamine and WCG have no idea who you are, or what you've been doing (and they like it that way).
Does Amphetamine Track Me?
Nope. Amphetamine is not a web-based app, and it doesn't know your internet activities. Amphetamine and WCG don't care about what you do on the internet. Additionally, Amphetamine is not designed to collect or retain any information about your location, usage, or activity.
Does Amphetamine Sell My Information?
Nope. Since Amphetamine does not collect or retain any of your data, there's nothing to sell. Amphetamine doesn't show you any advertisements, and has no information about you to sell to to advertisers.
